Betty Jane Johnson, 93, of Lake Charles, passed away Monday, March 3, 2025, at a local care facility. Betty was born in Kinder, LA. on February 9, 1932, to Maurice and Beatrice Augustine.
Betty lived a life filled with love, dedication, and unwavering strength. A proud resident of Lake Charles, Betty spent many fulfilling years as a payroll clerk in the construction industry, contributing her talents and warmth at BICO Pavers. She was known not only for her professional expertise but also for her kind heart and nurturing spirit.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons; Steve Johnson (Colleen), Jeffery Johnson (Kelly), daughter; Becky Faul, sister; Charlene Ardoin, brothers; Wendell Augustine (Dorothy), Anthony Augustine (Donna), 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 12:00PM until the funeral service at 2:00PM, all at Johnson Funeral Home, 4321 Lake St. Lake Charles, LA. 70605. Burial will follow the funeral at Consolata Cemetery.
