Betty Madelle Obituary
She was the wife of Clarence F. Madelle who died in 1991. She leaves her daughters; Nancy A. Madelle of Charlton and Tracy A. Cruz and her husband Julio of Southbridge with whom she lived, her son; Richard Burns of Worcester, her sister Joanne Jill Sauvageau of No. Grafton, 11 grandchildren, several great and great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a son; George Burns, and a daughter;Jacqueline Thibeault. She was born in Spencer and raised by George and Anne (Barnes) Sleeper.
Betty worked in the housekeeping dept. at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester before retiring in 1998. Private funeral services and burial in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton were held on Tuesday, Dec. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverly Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452.
The J.Henri Morin & Son Funeral Home, Spencer directed arrangements for the family.
