Ms. Betty Morehart

Betty Sue Morehart (Susie) of Petersburg, Virginia passed away suddenly March 17th, 2026.

Born on July 4th, 1957, she was the daughter of Charlotte Morehart. Allen Morehart (Daddy) passed way too soon, leaving Susie with mother Charlotte, brother Mike and sister Francis (Franny). She grew up as a daughter of the military and Catholic with a faithful relationship with God that she kept throughout her life.

Betty graduated from Gibbons High School and John Tyler Community College (Now Brightpoint). She later enlisted in the Army and was deployed to Desert Storm as a medical specialist. After completing her service, she made a home in Petersburg. She spent most of her time trying to connect with family and friends, reading books and making recipes. Although Susie was divorced, she still had love and compassion for the Brewer family. Also, love and compassion for the Arlt family in Deutschland being Susie & Charlotte's first family. She is survived by her son, David Brewer; grandson, Miles Brewer; brother, Mike Morehart with wife Jane; Niece, Amanda; Nephews, Jeff & Chris Butterworth; Friend, Nora.

Betty Sue Morehart will be placed in Quantico National Cemetery with military honors on Wednesday, March 25th at 11:00 am per her wishes.

She is now is God's care.
