With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Mosco, who departed this life on June 15, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on July 17, 1955, in East Liverpool, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Robert Reckner and Mary 'Thelma' (Horwat) Kaider and step-father Stanley Kaider. She was Catholic by Faith and read the Bible daily. Betty lived a life marked by compassion, dedication, and deep love for her family.
Betty was married to the love of her life, Tony Mosco, Jr., for 49 wonderful years. Together, they built a beautiful life centered around family, faith, and service to others. As a caregiver by profession and by nature, Betty spent her life offering comfort, support, and kindness to everyone around her-whether family, friend, or stranger.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Tony Mosco, Jr.; her beloved children, Tony Mosco III and his wife Brittany, and Nicole Chiplaskey and her husband Ryan. Betty's greatest joy was being a grandmother, and she leaves behind five cherished grandchildren: Ashton Chiplaskey, Ayden Chiplaskey, Nolan Mosco, Aryana Chiplaskey, and Easton Mosco, who were the light of her life and the heart of her stories. She is also survived by 2 sisters and a brother, Mary Hoffman and her husband Jeff, Wilma Mae Moore, and Thomas Reckner, Sr.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by 4 brothers, William, Richard, Robert and Clifford Reckner.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday, June 18 in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME. A Catholic Blessing will be at 10 am on Thursday, in the funeral home, with interment following in Grandview Cemetery.

In remembrance of Betty, the family request that any gestures of sympathy be made through donations toward funeral cost rather than flowers.
