Christopher Michael Mosco, born on December 16, 1980, in Erie, Pennsylvania, returned to his eternal home on August 9, 2025, due to an epileptic seizure. He was the beloved son of Loretta and Billy McCloud and biological father Daniel Cortez.
Chris, as he was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him. We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Chris is survived by his mother, Loretta McCloud and biological father, Daniel Cortez. He is also survived by his sons Jaquan Mosco and Christopher Mosco (Lil Chris) who he loved immensely. He is also survived by his siblings, Mark Murphy (Maria), William McCloud, Antonio Cruz-Burgos, Nicholas Mosco, Daniel McCloud, Josh McCloud, Loretta McCloud, Jonathan McCloud, Jacob McCloud, Jessica Hefton, Danny and David Cortez.
