David Ronald Waterhouse, age 75, of Erie, passed away on Friday, August 22nd, 2025, in hospice care at Manchester Commons, Fairview, PA.
He was born May 23, 1950, in Erie, PA, a son to the late Carl E. and Helen P. (Judwig) Waterhouse. David was a long-time resident of Erie, except for a few years spent in Los Angeles, CA and Houston, TX.
David attended Holy Rosary Parochial School and graduated from Tech Memorial High School in 1969.
He was a CNC machine operator for a variety of companies including Skinner Engine, General Electric, and Modern Industries.
David was an accomplished guitar player and loved acoustic and electric guitar playing. He played in several bands of which Smith and Western, and SoCal are most notable.
He is survived by his brothers, Carl Waterhouse (Jean) of North Port, FL, and Paul Waterhouse, of Waynesburg, PA; his nephew, Lee Waterhouse of Meadville, PA; and niece, Rebecca Bemis (Ron) of Erie, PA. He is further survived by his first cousin, Jerry Anuszkiewicz (Mary Ann) and friend, Lou Bizzarro, all of Erie.
His family would like to thank the staff at Manchester Commons, especially the nursing staff in the Eagle Ridge and Blue Heron wings, along with the staff of AseraCare Hospice, especially Kristin.
Private arrangements have been entrusted to Burton Quinn-Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge. Inurnment will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
