Alan Otteni Obituary
Alan was a member of the McKean Lions Club and the McKean St. Francis Ushers Club. He was an active member and past chief of the McKean Volunteer Fire Department. Al was awarded McKean Citizen of the year from the McKean Fire Department in 1986 for his influence of starting of CECPA (Central Erie County Paramedic Association), purchasing the first paramedic unit. As owner of Otteni Industries, he established many housing developments in the Erie area and served as president of the State Homeowners Association in the 1980s. Many people from Georgetown remember him fondly as Santa Claus, passing out presents to the neighborhood children. Al was an avid golfer in Florida. One of Al's greatest accomplishments was winning the Best of Show at Daytona Bike Week with his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. Al enjoyed traveling in his RV and motorcycle across the country several times.
In addition to his parents, Alan is preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley (Meyer) Otteni.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Fitzgerald) Otteni; his children, Mary Beth and Stacey, Patrick (Rose), Jeffrey and Scott Otteni; stepdaughter, Brenda (Danny) Alan; stepson, Al (Alison) Marschke; and brother, Gerry Otteni. He also leaves behind 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at St. Francis Xavier Church 8880 Main St. McKean, PA 16426 from 9 am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11 am. Burial will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. The Kloecker Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. is handling the arrangements.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CECPA (Central Erie County Paramedic Association) PO Box 162 Edinboro, PA 16412.

Alan,Was a very good human being.
We were introduced to him when he built our house back in 1980 in Camelot. He treated us like royalty! Everone loved him because he was honest & professional. He was a pleasure to work with. Our condolences
