Betty J Nalls

Betty (Pollak) Nalls, 75, passed away peacefully on the morning of May 24, 2025, in Madera, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband of 18 years, Reverend Aubrey John Nalls. She is survived by her two daughters and their husbands, Courtney and Kevin Brown; Ashley and Daniel McGeorge, all of whom live in Tennessee; her brother and his wife, Ron and Linda Grossman of Fresno; as well as John's daughters, Jeanone Salcedo and Javeta Thiessen, and grandchildren, Leah and Ja'rae of Madera.
Betty was born in Lebanon, Oregon, on April 26, 1950. She attended Dallas High School, graduating in 1968. Shortly after her graduation, she moved to California, where she spent most of her life. She worked at the California/Nevada Church of God State Executive offices for 24 years. At the age of 55, she received her Associates Degree from Patton College in 2005. Near the end of her life, she moved into Cedar Creek Senior Living. Although Betty wasn't a resident there for long, she became an active member of the community. She regularly played bingo, attended the weekly church services, made her friends blankets, painted, and enjoyed riding the bus into town to shop. Betty touched the lives of everyone with her outgoing personality and her zest for life. Betty's faith was an important piece of her life, so she frequently prayed for and with people and shared the joy she found in Jesus.
The Celebration of Life will be 2:30 P.M. Friday, July 18 at Life Cathedral Church of God, in Fresno, CA, where Betty was a faithful member. Betty's life was greatly impacted by the care she received from the staff at Hinds Hospice.
