Betty Pauline Nordin, 88, of Chaffee, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at her home. She was born on December 5, 1936 in Burfordville, Missouri to Morell Cunninghan and Mable Pauline (McDaniel) Cunningham.

Betty was a hardworking and devoted woman who spent many years employed at the Florsheim Shoe Factory, Working in the Cutting Room. She was a woman of faith who found strength and comfort in her church and her family.

On April 9, 1976, Betty was united in marriage to Jesse “Jack” Nordin, who preceded her in death on October 21, 2025. Together, they enjoyed fishing and shared a love for travel. In earlier years, Jack and betty traveled throughout the United States in their RV, making countless memories along the way. As the years went on, they slowed their travels and devoted their time to managing several rental properties, continuing a life built on hard work, independence, and partnership.

Known for her red hair and determined nature, Betty left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. Even at 88 years old, she remained resilient and independent.

She is survived by one daughter, Vickie (Mike) Dumey of Chaffee; two grandson, Chris (Sarah) Dumey and Kyle (Jenny) Dumey; two great-granddaughters, Jadyn Dumey and Allison Dumey; one brother, Larry Cunningham; along with other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2025, from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM at the Amick-Burnett Funeral home in Chaffee. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Josh Boley officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Park Cemetery.

Betty will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
