Betty Bell Parris

Betty Parris Inman Betty Bell Parris, 86, of 29 Canaday Street Inman, passed away Thursday, February 4th, at Upstate Community Hospice House in Landrum. Betty was born in Inman, on March 5, 1934, a daughter of the late Floride Price Bell and Price "Winnie" Bell. She was the widow of Howard Lee Parris and was retired from Thomas and Betts in Inman. Survivors include a daughter; Charmayne P. Eichman and her husband, Jay from Huntersville, NC, a son; Dale Parris and his wife, Sandra of Greer; three special sister in laws; Brenda Bell of Lyman, Joyce Parris of Spartanburg, Betty Bell of Bonneau, SC, a special sister, Gaile Simmons of Fayetteville, NC, a special brother, Gene Horton of Lyman; six grandchildren, Kacie Mobley, Adam Burrell, Luke Burrell, Jessica Eichman, Bryon Gwinn, Shana Brewer; and seven great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also predeceased by a son, Howard Lee Parris, Jr; five brothers; Kenneth Bell, Randy Bell, Duran Bell, Jimmy Bell, Mack Bell, and three sisters; Mary McBride, Dean Mathis, and Imogene Horne. Due to covid protocols, the family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 10th at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM on Wednesday at Seawright Funeral Home with Dr. Paul Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
