The family of Betty Ann Peno, 72, of Sheldon, announces that she passed away peacefully April 28, 2025, in Milton. She was born in Colchester, March 7, 1953 to Wilford and Cecile (Garceau) Cameron. Betty married Roy Peno, September 15, 1972. She worked as a Sales Lady at Ames Department Store, and a seamstress for the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory.

Betty enjoyed crafts, to include Knitting, Crochetting, Embroidery, and Sewing. She also loved watching old movies, talking on the telephone, and visiting with friends and family.

She is survived by her children, Roy Peno II and his wife Sarah Rumsby, Michael Peno and his wife Shea, Matthew Peno, Danielle Blazonis and her husband Paul, and her sister Pat Snow, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Wilford and Cecile Cameron, her son, Arthur Edward Peno, her husband Roy Thomas Peno Sr., her brothers William Cameron , Joseph Cameron, and Adrian Cameron, and her sisters Trudy Patterson, Mamie Rose Cameron, and Diane Lefebvre.

The family wishes to thank Betty's caregiver and friend Maryann Hallock. She made her home, Betty's home, and the family will be forever grateful.

A Remembrance Gathering will be held May 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM, in the Brady & Levesque Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. A Time of Reflection will be held, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

As an alternative to flowers, memorials may be made in her name to Northwestern Medical Center Auxilliary, 133 Fairfield Street, St. Albans, VT 05478.
