Betty Price Obituary
Betty Jean Price passed away December 11, 2025. She was born in LaGrange, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Lillian Sims Daniel, her brother, Donald "Bulldog " Sims, and husband, Ralph Richard Price.
She was a graduate of Rosemont High, LaGrange, GA, and graduated from Columbus Medical School of Nursing (GA), receiving a R.N. degree.
Betty was employed at Medical Center, Columbus, GA; Clark Holder Clinic, LaGrange, GA; Emory Hospital, Decatur, GA; and Fort Walton Beach Hospital, Fort Walton Beach, FL. She was also employed at J.C. Penny's in Greenville, SC, and Asheville, NC, where she retired in 2015.
She was a lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi, an international women's sorority, and was voted "Girl of the Year" twice.
She is survived by her children, Christopher M. Price and Judith M. Price, both of Asheville, NC, grandson, Gabriel H. Price of Charlotte, NC, and a cousin, Clyde Moore, of LaGrange, GA.
