Betty Resha Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by All County Funeral Home-Del Lago Chapel - Lake Worth on Mar. 2, 2026.
Betty Jean Resha (lovingly called Mimi by her family), passed at home February 25th in the presence of family. She was

preceded in death by her Son-Darryl Resha, and Sister-Wanda.

She was an administrative secretary to the president for C.W.A. local 3181 for 40 years. Dedicated to her Union and it's members, she worked tirelessly. Showing everyday how much she really cared about the union.

Betty loved doing everything with her life partner of 43 years Rick. Their favorite breakfast spot Gun Club, the front porch for that morning coffee, the wellington mall and Dreher Park for walks. Some of her favorite memories were trips to places like Vegas, and New Hampshire to see family. Her most favorite were the trips to Disney World, and the Disney Resorts.

Betty was a loving Mother and Grandmother. She raised her sons' Darryl and Donnie.

She was an amazing Step Mother to Janne. With adventures to places like Lion Country Safari, the malls for shopping, and of course Disney. Walks with the usual stop at Arby's for a split jamocha/chocolate shake. Teaming up together to talk Rick into what ever ... thing... they wanted or wanted to go do.

Betty was a devoted grandmother and second mother to Terra, providing constant love and guidance from infancy into adulthood. Whether crafting, planting milkweed and pentas for butterflies, shopping at their (second home) the mall, or spending time at the union hall watching disney movies and working on projects together, Mimi turned everyday moments into magical memories.

She was Terra's pillar of strength through the loss of her Dad, and illness, always ready with wisdom, a smile, or a comforting presence. Towards the end of her life, Mimi found immense joy in her great-granddaughter, Emery. Her legacy of devotion lives on through them both forever.

She was survived by :

Son - Donnie Resha

Life partner - Rick Poulette

Step daughter - Janne Reichard

Sister - Linda Alvarez

Brother - Harry Spires

Grand daughter - Terra Resha

Grand children - Brianna, Meghan, Kadence, and Earl

Great great grand children - Emery, Iris, Avery, and Juniper
