Michael Paul Kump

Michael Paul Kump, age 73 of Jupiter, FL passed away on Tuesday, March 10th, 2026 at Jupiter Medical Center. Michael was born on June 6, 1952 in Hanover, PA to Paul and Daisy Kump.

He graduated from Hanover High School in 1970. He was dedicated to high school sports, particularly football and wrestling. Michael attended Southwood College in North Carolina. He worked in the sales field his whole adult life. He worked for Snyder's Pretzel Co., Hanover, PA as a sales manager in his early adult life. He went on to work for Green's Dairy in York, PA in the same capacity. Harrisburg Dairies out of Harrisburg, PA was another dairy company that he was employed by for several years. He retired from Kemps Foods as a regional sales manager for the Baltimore-Washington DC sales area in 2011.

Michael was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed the outdoors and travelling. He loved life and was a friend to many. He was known for his contagious smile and dynamic personality. Michael was an active member of the Elks in Jupiter until he became ill.

He was a loving father and devoted husband.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Janice Kump, his son, Aaron M. Kump of Lantana, FL, his daughter, Lacey Fernandez of Doral, FL, and son-in-law, Marino Fernandez along with two granddaughters, Willow and Valentina who he adored. He is also survived by three sisters Rachel Grimes and Cynthia Hippensteel, both of Hanover, PA and Rebecca Bankert of Spring Grove, PA. He was preceded in death by a sister, Candace Forbes.

Services will be at the discretion of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society in Michael's memory.

Michael (lovingly known as Do-do by his granddaughters) will be deeply missed by many and will remain forever in our hearts.
