Betty Lou Roy, age 82 of Alton, MO, was born September 29, 1941, near Alton, MO and passed away December 10, 2023, in West Plains, MO.
Survivors include four children Debra Nash and husband Mike, Tony Roy and wife Belinda, Regina Ackley, Sherry Roy, brother Ronnie Sisco, sister Kay Bradley, 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Larwood Sisco and Marjorie Pierce Sisco, her husband Glen, two granddaughters Lakisha Roy and Tosha Hollis, three brothers, Jerry, Kenneth and Van Sisco, one sister May King.
Betty was a kind, caring woman who spent most of her time at home caring for the ones she loved. Betty enjoyed having people over for morning coffee and conversation. Betty also enjoyed sunny days front porch sitting. Betty dedicated her life to her family and friends. Betty will be remembered most for the wonderful caring heart she had. Betty was loved by many and will truly be missed.
Services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO with Chet Sisco officiating. Visitation will be 1-2:00pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Bailey Cemetery.
