Betty J. Searls, 88 of Follansbee, WV, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at the Mary Jane Brooks, Valley Hospice Care Center North, Steubenville, Ohio. Betty was born on November 7, 1936 in Mingo Junction, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Emery Searls and Ruby (Haynes) Searls.
Betty worked as a receptionist for a security company and was best known for her warm heart, bright smile, and the birthday cakes she lovingly made for her family and friends. Her kindness touched many, and she will be remembered for her generous spirit. If love could have saved her, she would have lived forever.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her eight siblings, Helen, Kohen, Mary Lindle, Inez Tuttle, Anabelle Martin, Isabelle Ronevich, Floyd Butler and two infant brothers.
Betty is survived by her companion and caregiver, Tom Andreozzi, a niece, Debbie Blavos, five nephews, Chuck, Gary, David, Rex and Brady Kohen, great niece and great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews including Harley Morris that held a special place in her heart.
