Betty Louis Ledford Singleton, age 76 of Lawrenceville, GA., born in Augusta, passed away Thursday, January 1, of the New Year 2026.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Parilee Ica Haney Ledford and Frank Ford Ledford, both from Murphy, NC; sister and brother-in-law, Doris Linda Howard Raper and Goldman Raper of Culberson, NC; daughter, Angela Marie Thompson; and grandson, Micheal Keith Thompson, Jr.
She is survived by her son and his wife, Jarrette William Leonard and Daphine Leonard; daughter, Katherine Veronica Leonard; and step children, Jody (JT) Singleton and Danny Singleton; grandchildren, Parilee Elizabeth Thompson, Chelsea Leonard, Kaitlynn Leonard, Grace Marie Clift Faiz, Chris Lee Clift, Jr., Heather Lynne Clift; great grandchildren, Madison, Margan and Maggie Leonard, Paisleigh Ivonne and Aaron Zachary Casarrubias, Aisha Navaeh and Ava Vaminia Clift; her sister and brother in-law, Dorothy Gail Ledford and Dennie Walter Howard; and niece and nephew, Kimberly and Rodney (Todd) Howard.
The funeral service to celebrate the life of Betty Louise Ledford Singleton will be held at 12:00pm on Friday, January 16, 2026 at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel, Snellville, GA. Burial will follow at H.G. Wright Cemetery in Norcross, GA. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
