Betty Lou Huber Snyder, age 87 of Blue Earth, passed away Monday, January 19, 2026 at United Hospital District in Blue Earth.
Betty Lou was born January 14, 1939 to Ray and Rhoda (Honstad) Evans in Waseca, MN. In 1955, she married Bob Huber and together, they raised three children, Rocky, John, and Tamy in Elmore, MN. In 2007, Betty married Jerry Snyder. A devoted member of the Elmore Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary, Betty dedicated herself to her community and her faith. Her career spanned various roles, including bookkeeper, teller, and outpatient coordinator. Most recently, she enjoyed her time working at Walmart until her retirement, where her warm spirit and kindness touched the lives of many. Betty was a passionate reader and a skilled seamstress, often found immersed in a good book or creating special pieces for her family. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her loved ones, particularly her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
Betty is survived by her three children; Rocky (Brenda) Huber of Elmore, John (Delilah) Huber of Kerrville, TX, Tamy (Wayne) Tvedten of Elmore; stepchildren, Stephanie (Stuart) Hautala of Ramsey, MN, Michael Snyder of Olathe, KS, Pat (Karin) Snyder of Elk River, MN, Aimee (Joel) Tiedt of Hanover, MN; two brothers, Lyle Evans of Venice, FL and Lynn (Teresa) Thompson of Eau Claire, WI; twenty grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and stepfather; first husband, Bob Huber and second husband, Jerry Snyder; son, George Huber; two grandsons, Timothy Huber and Thomas Tvedten.
Funeral services will be held at a later date.
