Audrey Johnson Obituary
Audrey Johnson, age 90 of Elmore passed away Tuesday March 17, 2026 at Parkview Care Center in Wells. The family will greet the public from 5-7pm Friday March 27 at Patton Funeral Home. A private burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery in Elmore.
Audrey Joan Johnson was born to Virgil and Gladys (Loucks) on August 2, 1935.
She graduated from Ledyard Consolidated High School in 1953. She went to Iowa Business College and then started at the Ledyard bank.
She married Donald Johnson on December 15, 1956 and lived on the family farm south of Elmore. She continued to work on the farm as well as a Pharmacy Tech at Fischer Drug and Walmart, and later at the Elmore Post Office, where she retired. Audrey was active in the Elmore United Methodist Church and also the Elmore Library.
Her most enjoyable moments were spending time with her family.
Left to treasure her memory are Tammy (Kim) Meyers of Blue Earth; Terry (Jody) Johnson of Blue Earth; Tom (Lori) Johnson of Buffalo Center, IA, grandchildren Teresa Johnson of Blue Earth, Tyler (Macy) Meyers of Lino Lakes, MN, Kyle (Ashley) Meyers of Maplewood, MN, Ryan Johnson and her great-grandson, Cameron Meyers.
Joined in heaven by her husband Donald in 1995 and her twin brother Allen in 2023.
