In loving memory of Bobbie Lou Stone Johnson, age 84 of Raleigh North Carolina, entered into rest on March 13, 2026 at home with her loving family by her side.

Anderson and husband Gerald, Angela Johnson and husband Joseph and Sandra Jeffries and husband Russell; sisters, Betty Shirley and Linda Beasley with many nieces and nephews. Bobbie was preceded by her loving husband of 61 years Charlie Walker Johnson; sisters, Mary Francis Honeycutt, Glenda Aiken, Doris Jones, Diane Stencil, and brother, Johnny Robert Stone, Jr.
Bobbie graduated from Coats high school in North Carolina. She worked with patients at Dorothy Dix hospital for many years. She also made many lifetime friends there. Afterwards she worked and retired with the Wake County Public School System. She worked at Wylie elementary school and later at Daniels Middle School She worked with special education students with love and a caring heart. She also made many lifelong friends at Daniels Middle School which she cherished.
Bobbie and her family were longtime members of Layden Memorial Methodist Church in Raleigh where she enjoyed teaching Sunday school and working with nursery aged children. All the thoughts and prayers were comforting and meaningful for her. She was a true believer in prayer that she offered without ceasing for all.
She loved spending time with all of her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling, working with arts and crafts. She loved sewing, baking, gardening and listening to gospel and country music. She excelled in helping multiple generations on their school projects. Some of us still have them. We all enjoyed her quirky sense of humor, making us laugh all the time.
Bobbie was one of the most loving, caring and giving lady that the Lord created. She took care of her family, friends, community and strangers.
We will always love her and remember her as the loving, kind and giving person that she always was. We will cherish all the wonderful memories that we have of our Mama and Granny. She will be missed by all that loved her.
