Betty Taylor Obituary

Betty was a loving mom and a stay-at-home mother who dedicated her life to her children. Her bright smile was a constant source of warmth and happiness for everyone who knew her. Born on February 15, 1980, in Marion, Ohio, to the late Norman Lewis and B.J. Manley, Betty was a woman who found joy in the simple things.
She loved reading, listening to the rain, and playing video games with her kids. She was known for her love of gnomes and her special bond with her pets, Jaxson and Gizmo. Above all, she treasured time spent with her children and her two amazing grandchildren, Emma Grace and Scarlett Rosalynn.
Betty is survived by her husband, Richard Taylor; her children, Austin Jacobs, Jessica Gilbert, Timothy Gilbert, Amber Gilbert, and Karlee Taylor; and her siblings, Billy "Dewey" Roark (Jessica Roark) and Becky "Peachy" Lavendier.
A celebration of life will be held to honor Betty on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 2:00 PM at New Harvest Church, 12792 NC HWY 211 W, Red Springs, NC 28377.
