Betty Teis Obituary
She was born on April 29, 1931 in Canton, Ohio to David and Anna Marie (Ardmen) Betz.
Betty attended Canton Township High School. She worked as a florist at McGill Flowers, A Boutique and went on to own her own flower shop. Betty was a member of the Prairie College Elementary School PTA, Canton South Junior Guild, Canton South AARP, North Industry Methodist Church and Mt. Zion Community Church. She loved all the holidays but especially Christmas season.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Melvin “Mel” Teis; siblings, Preston Betz, Harold “Petey” Betz, David Betz Jr. and Jackie Bruder.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, David (Jane) Teis, Dale (Candy) Teis, Darlene Greene, Dean Teis, Denette (Bob) Edwards, Darren Teis; grandchildren, Michelle, Michael, Jonathan, Kristy, Trish, Melissa; 12 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and her loving dog Holly.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Dan Edwards officiating. Betty will be laid to rest at Liberty Cemetery.
