Betty Sue Tennison
Betty Sue Gentry Tennison, 87, joined her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 27, 2024. She passed away at Chateau Pines in Brandon, MS. Visitation will begin 10am until the service at 12 Noon Friday, March 29, 2024, at Brandon Assembly of God. There will be a 1pm Graveside service on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Lindsey Cemetery in Dennis, MS, Tishomingo County.
Sister Tennison was born in Belmont, MS on December 8, 1936, to Ted Gentry and Faye Ivy Gentry. She balanced her working life with being a wife and a mother. Her Lord and family was utmost important to her. She and her husband, Rev. Holley Tennison traveled all over ministering to people.
Survivors include her loving husband, Rev. Holley Tennison; daughter, Vicky Springer (Don); daughter-in-law, Leona Tennison; grandchildren, Heather Sheldon (Lance) and Rocco DiCeglio; great grandchildren, Blake Lowery and Bryson Lowery. She was preceded in death by her son, Rev. Tony Tennison, siblings, Mittie Sartin, Opal Taylor, Margie O’Rear, Dorohty Bailey and Wade Gentry, and her parents.
