Betty Jean Walker was born to the late Jack Edward and Estella Henry Boykin and was raised in a loving and faith-filled home. She was a resident of Gulfport, MS Betty's life was a reflection of kindness, humility, and grace. Her laughter, prayers, songs, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Betty Walker peacefully transitioned into the loving arms of Jesus Tuesday, October 14, 2025 in Gulfport, MS at the age of 84.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Clarence Boykin, Lawerence Boykin, Larry Boykin and Henry Boykin, one sister, Mildred Boykin, and two sisters-in-law, Geraldine Boykin and Valarie Boykin.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: one devoted brother, Glenn (Margaret) Boykin; three loving sisters, Donna (Clarence) Hawthorne, Jessica Boykin and Tiffaney Boykin; along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will forever remember her gentle spirit, caring heart, and unwavering faith.
