Betty Sue Watts, age 90, of Cleveland, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025.
Mrs. Watts was born on September 4, 1935, in Cleveland, Georgia, to the late Jesse Tow, Sr. and Minnie McCarter Tow. She retired from working in home health and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husbands, Floyd Young and Eddie Watts; daughter, Kathy Harkins; grandson, Taylor Harkins; sisters, Hazel Winkler, Barbara Dyer, Edna Jarrard; brother, Russell Tow.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Rev. Danny and Ginger Harkins, Lamar Harkins, Darrell “Butch” Harkins, Wanda and Ed Watts, Jimmy and Amy Harkins, and Tim Harkins; brother and sister-in-law, Jesse and Virginia Tow; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Antioch Baptist Church. The Rev. Danny Harkins will officiate. Interment will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at the funeral home.
