Betty Louise Berger Wheeler, born September 10, 1938, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away surrounded by family. She was the daughter of Frank W. Berger and Rosie (Seaver) Berger.

Betty was married to Jerry W. Wheeler, Sr. on May 28, 1958. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerry; her son, Jerry W. Wheeler, Jr.; her brothers Carlyle and Wilbur Berger; a brother-in-law, Skip Studebaker; two sisters-in-law, Rosie & LuRay Berger; and two nephews, Steve & Bruce Berger.

She is survived by her daughters Kathy E. Wheeler (Mike) of Tavares, FL, and Sandra K. Kehoe (Keith) of Leesburg, FL; daughter-in-law Carla Wheeler of Jefferson City, MO; grandchildren Andrea L. Benson (Joshua), Richard D. Wheeler, Lauren Bolin, and Kyle D. Kehoe (Beth); and two great-grandchildren, Lily Anthony and Jason Benson. She is also survived by her sister Rosemary Studebaker, along with two nieces and two nephews.

Betty dedicated many years of her life to service and community. She worked faithfully as a church secretary and later with the U.S. Postal Service, retiring as Postmaster of Lentner, Missouri. A talented singer, she performed with The Little Big Band in Chillicothe, MO, bringing joy through music wherever she went.

A woman of remarkable energy and determination, Betty earned her black belt in Tae Kwon Do at the age of 70. She loved to travel, especially to the ocean, and enjoyed puzzles and brain games. She shared her many talents with her family-teaching her children how to sew, sing, cook, and swim-and passed down not only skills but also confidence, creativity, and resilience.

Betty's life was marked by devotion to family, faith, and lifelong learning. She will be remembered for her warmth, her strength, and the many gifts she shared with those she loved.
