Betty Jo Garrett Wiley of Springville Utah passed away peacefully at the Age of 84 on November 17th 2025.
Betty Was Born on November 4th 1941 to Lula and Fabain Garrett in Nephi, Utah. Betty was the 2nd of 4 children in the family. Childhood was simple but full of many great memories.
Betty met the love of her life James D. Wiley and was married on March 2nd 1962. They had two daughters Kris and Amy.
Betty was always the home maker of the family. Taking care of and providing for her daughters and then her Grandchildren. Always making yummy treats and dinners along the way.
Betty Passed away peacefully after living a full life. Her family will miss her dearly but always feel her near.
Betty is survived by her sisters Myrna Eberle, Susan Hale. Daughters Kris(Jeff) Mitchell, Amy(Michael) Graves. Grandchildren Lacy(Kacey) Koyle, Dallin Mitchell, Marissa(Rope) Ryan, and Jordyn Graves. And Great Grandchildren Ryker and Brylie Koyle, and Lucas Ryan.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Lula and Fabain Garrett. Her younger brother Kay Lynn (Kenny) Garrett. Her husband Jim Wiley, and her dear grandson Clay Mitchell.
We would like to thank Rocky Mountain Care Facility and their Hospice team for their love and care of Betty during the End of Betty’s time.
A viewing for family and friends will be held Sunday, November 23, 2025 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Mapleton Wheeler Mortuary 82 West 400 North in Mapleton. There will be an additional viewing held at the Mapleton mortuary on Monday, November 24, 2025 from 11:00 to 12:00 prior to Graveside services at 12:00 in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
