Betty Ann (Nichols) Williams, 87, of Perry, KS, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 5, 2025 at Kelly House, Meriden, KS.

She was born October 17, 1937 in Lawrence, KS, the daughter of Marlin "Nic" Nichols and Mildred (Schmidt) Nichols. She was a 1955 graduate of Vinland High School.

Betty married Robert "Bob" Williams on March 27, 1959 in Lawrence. She is survived by a daughter, Marlene "Marty" (Tim) Blosser, of Perry, a son, Bryan (Wendi) Williams, of Perry, six grandchildren, Derik Blosser, Sean (Lesly) Blosser, Whitney (Steven) Brown, McKenzie (Joe Morris) Williams, Chelsea (Cody) Amerine, and Cooper Williams, and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Williams and her son, Robert "Bobby" Williams, Jr.

Throughout her life, Betty was an invaluable partner to her husband, assisting him in the operation of several businesses, including Bob's IGA grocery store in Perry, KS, A&W Restaurant in Camdenton, MO and Pat's Drive Inn in Oskaloosa, KS. She later retired from the Douglas County Health Department in Lawrence, KS. Betty was also a talented quilter, dedicating countless hours to creating personalized quilts for her family.

The family has chosen not to hold a public service. Instead, they will gather for a private inurnment at a later date. Memorials are encouraged to Ascend Hospice Or Jefferson County Humane Society in care of Barnett Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 602, Oskaloosa, KS 66066.
