Betty Joyce Wilson, 77, of Midland, TX, passed away peacefully on July 07, 2024, at Midland Memorial Hospital. Betty was born on February 18, 1947, to Doris Otho and Lillian Fay (Percival) Suitt in Stephenville, Texas.
Betty was the heart and soul of her family, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who embraced these roles with unparalleled dedication and affection. She was the backbone of her family, providing unwavering support and guidance. Betty's skill as a seamstress was matched only by her warmth and love, as she crafted not just garments, but cherished memories for those she loved.
Her legacy is marked by her boundless compassion and commitment to her family. She was a steadfast pillar of strength, always ready with a kind word or a comforting embrace. Her love was a constant in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and her memory will continue to be a source of inspiration and solace.
Betty is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lonnie Wilson, and her parents, Doris and Lillian Suitt.
She is survived by her five children: Dennis Wilson, Debra Ratliff (Delbert), Ricky Wilson, Sean Wilson (Kristin), and Kevin Brent Wilson (Becky). Her legacy lives on in her nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, who will forever cherish the love and lessons she imparted.

Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at American Heritage Cemetery beginning at 10:00 AM.
