Leticia Almanza
Beloved Sister, Mother, Grandmother, and Friend

Born on March 29, 1946, in Chihuahua, Mexico, Leticia was the daughter of Margarito and Cruz Paredes. She grew up in Pecos, where she attended Pecos High School. She is survived by her loving children: son and daughter-in-law Mark and Connie Almanza. Son and daughter-in-law Mario and Romie Almanza; daughter and son-in-law Cynthia and Lucio Florez Jr. and Leticia fiancé Chris Anaya.
One of Leticia’s greatest joys in life was being a grandmother. She adored her grandchildren—Anthony Almanza, Audrey and husband Ricky Gonzalez, Jazmine Pallanes, Isaiah and wife Makayla Florez, Isabella and husband Julian Najera, Chayton Garcia, Norman Pallanes, Lucio Florez III, Ambreya Almanza, Endreya Almanza, Jasmine Florez, and Aarylen Almanza—as well as her great-grandchildren, Adrian Najera and Meadow Sophia Martinez. She showered them with love and created treasured memories they will carry forever.
Leticia is also survived by her sisters Mary Munoz, Judy Schmidt, and Margie, and brother-in-law Johnny Galvan; her brothers Joe and sister-in-law Roseanne Salas and Jaime Paredes; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved her dearly.
Family and friends will gather to honor Leticia with a Rosary on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at Pecos Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held the following morning at 10:00 a.m. at Santa Rosa Catholic Church.
