Betty Wilson Obituary
Born August 14,1941 in Dumas, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Matt Croom, Sr. and Ossie Holmes-Croom. She was a member of Union Baptist M. B. C. in Dumas and a retired employee of Allied Signal Corp. of Kansas City, Missouri.
She is survived by two sons, Michael J. Esters of Kansas City, MO, Kim P. Love of Fayetteville, AR, one brother, Richard Croom of Niles, MI, one sister, Edith C. Vassol of Dumas, AR, 4 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Union Baptist M.B.C. in Dumas by Rev. Isom Cross, Jr.
Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery in Pickens, Arkansas by Brown Funeral Home of Dumas, Arkansas.
Visitation will be Friday, September 5, 2025 from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Her body will lie in state at the church on Saturday from 9:15 a.m. until time of service.

Resolution for Betty Croom Wilson
Whereas, in the providence of God, He has brought to a close the life, of Betty Croom Wilson. Dr. Elverta L. Vassol, Senior Pastor of Living Word Of Christ Fellowship Ministry, Kansas City, MO., believe that it is befitting to express our sympathy to the family of Betty Croom Wilson. We commend Him who knows best and whose peace passes all understanding.
Be it Resolved that we bow in humble submission to Him who never makes a mistake and reverently remind the family to be strengthened and encouraged. Our prayers are with you.
Whereas, the words of Jesus in John 14:1-3, "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."
Therefore, be it resolved, in loving memory of Betty Croom Wilson we intercede for the family and many friends, to demonstrate our support and love. We know Betty Croom Wilson will be sorely missed -however her life and legacy will be remembered by those who loved her.
