She was born March 22, 1944, in Pine Bluff, daughter of Rex and Francis McNeil De La Hunt.
Betty was reared and received her early education in White Hall, graduating from White Hall High School.
She worked at Simmons Bank in the Collections Department for many years before working at Walmart, Lee's Lumber and Barton's.
Betty was a previous member of Maranatha Baptist Church and St. Luke's United Methodist Church. She received an honor from the LCDC.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Cam and Roger De La Hunt; and sister, Margie De La Hunt.
Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Crowell of Pine Bluff; and two grandsons, Timothy Evans and Michael "Gage" Coburn.
There will be a private burial at a later date.
Arrangements were handled by Robinson and Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel (online register: www.RobinsonFuller.com).
