Ms. Betty Bryant Yates passed away from this life on November 13, 2025 at her home. She was born in the Bone Cave Community in Van Buren County on October 12, 1946 to parents Walker Bryant, Sr. and Delma Cole Bryant. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Walker Bryant, Jr., Paul Bryant, Billy Bryant, and Truman Bryant, sisters Wilba Roberts, Polly Delon, Ruby Roberts, and Sandra Simmons.

Betty is survived by son and daughter in law Greg N. and Lori Yates of McMinnville, daughter and son-in-law Benita and Jackie Troglen of Murfreesboro, brother and sister-in-law James Lynn and Beverly Bryant of Cookeville, sister-in-law Ruthann Bryant of McMinnville, granddaughters Courtney Byars (Tyler Woodard) of Cookeville and Lindsey (Chandler) Adams of McMinnville, grandson Cody Byars of Nashville, step grandchildren Cierra (Chance) Claxton of Sparks, NV, Caitlyn (Wes) Sudweeks of Fernley, NV, Daniel Troglen of Bakersfield, CA, Aaron (Makenzie) Troglen of Murfreesboro, and Luke Troglen (Kylie Mason) of Murfreesboro, great grandchildren Madison Byars of Smithville, Jaxon Byars of Pegram, Eleanor and Elora Adams of McMinnville, step great grandchildren Ellanore, Makiah, Wesley, and Charlett Sudweeks of Fernley, NV, and Evelyn Claxton of Sparks, NV. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends survive.

She was a long-time member of Northside Baptist Church and a retired salesclerk at Kmart. She was a member of Ladies Auxiliary and Senior Friends. Betty loved her family, church family, and watching NASCAR, especially Kyle Busch.

Services will be at McMinnville Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 16, 2025 with Bro. Jason Whitmire officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until time of service at 2:00 P.M. Burial will be at Laurel Creek Cemetery in Bone Cave.
