Betty Zerfass Obituary

Betty Mae Zerfass, 90, of Emmaus, died Monday, October 9, 2023, at Complete Care at Lehigh Center, Macungie. She was the wife of the late Clarence F. Zerfass. Born April 10, 1933, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Verna (Spangler) Conrad. She worked as a waitress at Howard Johnson's before going back to school and becoming a nurse's aide at Cedarbrook Nursing Home for many years prior to retiring in 1993.

Surviving are her daughters, April Derr of Mertztown, and Joanne Volkert, husband Robert of Emmaus; grandchildren, Randy, Erik, Monica, and Kelly; great grandchildren, Cody, Nickolas, Parker, Callaghan, and Noelle.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, October 13th at Coplay Cemetery, Coplay.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lehigh County Senior Center, 333 Ridge St., Emmaus, PA 18049.

Schmoyer Funeral Home, Breinigsville, is in charge of arrangements.
