Bettyann "Swedrek" Galganski

Bettyann Swedrek Galganski, age 82 of East Brunswick passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Old Bridge Medical Center. Born in the historic Village of Old Bridge in East Brunswick, Bettyann was a lifelong resident of the community she loved. She was a founding member of the East Brunswick Museum and an avid gardener. She was a past president of the Village of Old Bridge Community Group and served for 30 years on the original committee of the Village Fair. She was a licensed beautician, she worked at Suburban Bus Company for 10 years, and enjoyed being an Avon representative for 30 years. Above all, she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is predeceased by her parents Alberta and John Yuhas and her brother James Swedrek. Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Frank Galganski, her daughter Tracy Schneider and her husband Robert, her son John F. Galganski and his girlfriend Crystal Andrews, her grandchildren Rhiannon and Gabrielle Schneider and Oakley Galganski, her step granddaughter Callie Andrews, her niece, Tammy Rossi, with whom she shared a close bond; and many nieces nephews, and friends.
