Bettye Gretschel Obituary
Mrs. Gretschel, 91, of Suqualena, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2023 at her home.
Bettye Sue was an educator for over 35 years, her love of children and teaching was evident throughout her life. She retired as the Principal of Calvary Christian School in Meridian; she also enjoyed teaching piano for many years. She enjoyed her time with her friends and family and also had a devout love for her pets and animals.
Mrs. Bettye Sue is survived by her cousins Don Scott and Charles Matthew (Carolyn) as well as a host of friends that she also considered her family.
Mrs. Gretschel is preceded in death by her parents Jack and Zella Greer.
The Family suggests memorials be made as donations to East Mississippi Animal Rescue in lieu of flowers.

The Gretschel family will receive guests from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home.
