PORT BARRE- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Beulah LeJeune on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Port Barre. Fr. Clint Trahan will celebrate the Mass. Rite of Committal will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Beulah Stoute LeJeune, a beloved matriarch and gentle spirit, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2025, at the Courtyard Assisted Living. Born on September 1, 1933, in Port Barre, Louisiana, Beulah was a radiant presence in the lives of those fortunate enough to know her.
Beulah found profound joy tending to her flowers and cultivating her garden, nurturing each bloom with love and care. Her garden was a reflection of her soul—colorful, vibrant, and full of life. Whether planting seeds in the spring or enjoying the fruits of her labor in the summer, she shared this love for gardening with all who visited her home.
Beulah was also an adventurous spirit, relishing the opportunity to travel and explore new places. Her adventures took her across the United States and beyond, each trip enriching her life with experiences and memories that she treasured deeply.
Survivors include her sons Burnell LeJeune and wife Tricia of Scott, David LeJeune and wife Sheryl of Scott; daughter, Callie Graham and husband James of Lafayette; 5 grandchildren, Lori Latiolais and husband Derek, Kadi LeJeune, Kathe Bozeman and husband Travis, Corinne Greene and husband Andre, Christopher Lucente; 7 great-grandchildren, Avery Greene, Sophie Greene, Emma Greene, Will Bozeman, Ben Bozeman, Drew Latiolais and Cooper Latiolais.
Beulah is preceded in death by her husband, James LeJeune; parents, Alex and Theodilia Stoute; sisters, Lena, Shirley and Joyce; brothers, Noah, Percy, Blackie, Jessie, Bee and Murphy Stoute.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home of Port Barre. The Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Derek Latiolais, Andre Green, Travis Bozeman, Wayne Miller, Christopher Lucente, Drew Latiolais and Will Bozeman.
Beulah Stoute LeJeune leaves behind a legacy of love, beauty, and adventure that will resonate in the hearts of her family and friends for generations to come.
