Lauren "louLou" Badeaux

Port Barre-A Funeral Service will be held for Lauren Badeaux  at 6:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Port Barre on Friday, February 6, 2026. Fr. Clint Trahan will officiate the service.

A visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Port Barre. 

Lauren “Lou Lou” Badeaux, beloved daughter, mother, sister and cherished friend, passed away on January 31, 2026, at the age of 36. Born on December 19, 1989, in New Iberia, Louisiana, Lauren brought joy and creativity into the lives of everyone who knew her.

A passionate individual with dreams of traveling the world, Lauren was known for her artistic talents and her love of reading. Her hobbies included crafting and spending quality time with her friends and family. She found endless joy in the company of her nieces and nephews, creating memories that will be cherished forever.

Lauren is survived by her father, Billy Badeaux of Port Barre; her son, Aiden Ansley, and daughter, Kailynn Ansley, both of Grand Prairie; her brother, Ryan Badeaux and his wife, Annie, of Lafayette; her sisters, Joni Badeaux and her fiancé, Jason LeBlanc, Tiffany Thibodeaux and her husband, Russel, both of Port Barre, and Arielle Badeaux and her fiancé, Jeremy Leger, also of Port Barre, and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Carla Badeaux; her maternal grandmother, Vinelle Guillory Ford; her maternal grandfather, Kirk Ford; her paternal grandmother, Ethelene Callaway; her paternal grandfather, Robert Lee Badeaux; and her uncle, Byron Kim Badeaux.

Though our world feels a little dimmer without her, Lauren’s spirit will continue to shine brightly through the memories we hold dear. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten, as her laughter and love remain in the hearts of all who had the pleasure to know her.
