Beulah Louise Powers passed away at the age of 87, surrounded by love and her family. She was born to the late James and Oma Crigger (nee Baker) in Yukon, West Virginia on May 17,1938. She was one of eleven children in the family. She graduated from Big Creek High School, War, West Virginia, class of 1957. She met her future husband through one of her brothers. Joseph Powers was home on leave from the Airforce. They married a short time later in a small family church in Yukon, West Virginia. Wanting a better life for her family, they moved to Columbus, Ohio and Joe served nine years in the Air force. Once his time was completed, a relative promised him a job for Ford Motor company in Cleveland, Ohio. They had started a family and were ready for a move. They settled in Cleveland and were happy until they moved again to Avon Lake in 1969. Beulah worked for Union Carbide soldering batteries. She retired in 1997 after 30+ years as a dedicated employee.

Beulah was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. She had a heart of gold and was very proud of her home. Beulah was always cleaning, cooking, doing yard work and gardening. Her favorite saying was "I'm making this place look pretty". She was proud of her home and people would stop by and compliment her on how beautiful her yard was. Beulah really loved to host Sunday family suppers and holidays. She will be missed for her southern cooking. Beulah was a faithful Christian and lived through her faith. She had a strong relationship with God, and this faith carried through her entire life. For fun, she enjoyed going to the casino. She especially loved her triple 7 slot machines.

Beulah is survived by her children, Pamela Bilski (Rich), Anita Klembarsky (John), Kevin Powers (Allison) and Lori Lick (Randy); grandchildren Bobby, Joey (Katie), Ricky (Tiffany), Katherine, Shelby, Eric (Starr), Tara, Enrico, Alex (Lyndsey), Kevin, Brandon and Tori; 10 great- grandchildren with 1 more on the way. She also leaves behind her siblings; Henry Crigger, Darrie Crigger, Marvin Crigger (Mary), Raymond Crigger and Hattie Hutson. She also has a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Joseph D. Powers, parents, James and Oma Crigger; siblings Elmer Crigger (Shirley), Richard Crigger (Betty), Edna Romans (Fred) and Wanda Crigger; sister -in -laws, Jean Crigger, Doris Crigger, Kay Crigger and brother-in -law Tommy Hutson.
