Beulah G. Miller Selman,100, of Cowen passed away Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Webster Healthcare Center, Cowen. Beulah was born November 25, 192, the third oldest in her family, at her parents’ home on Givens Run. While growing up Beulah and her siblings carried their water in the car with one girl holding a bucket and one holding the other, one on each side. He and Beulah also spent a lot of time working in the woods cutting fence posts, stringing wire so they could rent the land for grazing. Beulah planted, worked and harvested the gardens. Gib plowed and furried the garden and Beulah stored the potatoes in the cellar and made canned goods from anything possible. She was a long time member of the Trinity United Methodist Church; she also enjoyed cooking big family meals for everyone to enjoy.
