Beulah M. Shadle, age 86, of Ingraham, Illinois, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025, at Axiom Healthcare of Flora in Flora, Illinois.

She was born on January 23, 1939, in Newton, Illinois she married Gerald Shadle on March 4th, 1959. They shared 46 years of marriage together. She lived a life rooted in faith, family, and compassion.

Beulah worked at Krales chicken processing plant in Olney, IL for several years before deciding to work as a waitress in Newton for some time. After that she went to work at the Tasty Freeze in Newton then retired to stay home and take care of her grandkids.

Beulah was a loving mother to two children: Robert Shadle and wife Betty of Ingraham, Illinois and Susan Pittman of West Salem, Illinois. She had 7 grandchildren, Derrick Pittman, Cody Pittman of Clay City, Jason Shadle of Colorado, Justin Shadle of Ingraham, IL, Kendra Shadle, Cassidy Shadle of Flora, IL, Dalton Shadle of Olney, IL and 16 great grandkids. She adored her children and grandchildren deeply and loved spending every moment she could with them and found great purpose in caring for them throughout the years. In her days she loved tending to her garden, fishing every chance she could get, reading her bible daily, mowing her yard, and reading books and helping out at the Ingraham Labor Day picnic.

A woman of faith, Beulah was a Baptist who found comfort and guidance in reading the bible and believing in the Lord. Beulah will be remembered for her generous spirit and boundless kindness. She was always ready to lend a helping hand and had innate ability to make others feel seen and cared for. Her legacy is quiet yet powerful that left lasting impressions on those fortunate enough to know her. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.

Beulah was preceded in death by her beloved husband Gerald, her father and mother her in-laws Clifford and Evelena Shadle, two brothers, two sisters. Though their absence was heart felt, she always carried their memory with her.

It was Beulah's wishes for cremation and no services to be held. The McGriff Funeral Home in Louisville is honored to be assisting the family with the arrangements. To sign the guestbook online or to share a memory or story of Beulah, please visit www.mcgriffandtriplettfh.com.
