Paul N. Shadle Sr.

Paul N. Shadle Sr., 100, of New Kensington, died on Sunday, March 15, 2026, in Logan Place, Lower Burrell. He was born in Greensburg on Feb. 10, 1926, to the late William David and Myra Addie Dibble Shadle and had been a resident of Lower Burrell since 1941. Mr. Shadle was an Army veteran of the Battle of the Bulge during WWII and was a member of Christian Missionary Alliance Church. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and family and being on the computer and was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Dorothy Ann Morris Shadle; son, Paul (Sharon) Shadle Jr., of Upper Burrell; grandson, John Gorsuch; and three great-grandchildren, Julianna, Makayla, and Gavin Gorsuch. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Marian Shadle; brother, William Shadle; and two sisters, Violet Bargerstock and Dorothy Moore. Friends will be received from 2 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2026, by Rev. Brian Kilbert, at RUSIEWICZ OF LOWER BURRELL FUNERAL HOME, 3124 Leechburg Road, at Alder St. Burial will be private in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
