Beverly Ann Dillard, age 88, left our world suddenly on Thursday, October 19, 2023, exactly 24 years to the day of her oldest son passing, Robert Paul Dillard. She had recently recovered from multiple illnesses and was doing very well.
She was born Beverly Ann Heritage to Paul E. Heritage and Josephine E. (Gless) Heritage on February 12, 1935, in Brooksville Florida. She was the first child born to Paul and Josephine. Her brother Darrien L Heritage preceded her in death on June 28, 1977. Beverly graduated high school from St. Petersburgh High, Florida. On August 5th, 1956, she married Robert (Bob) H. Dillard in St. Petersburgh Florida. Beverly worked at The University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill campus hospital in the pharmacy department until they moved to Albuquerque New Mexico in 1967. In 1971, they moved to Carlsbad until 2012, when she moved back to Albuquerque. Beverly was preceded in death by her father, mother, son, and granddaughter Jessica Danielle Dillard in September of 2022.
She is survived by her youngest son, Terry B. Dillard, and wife, Elizabeth A. (Vigil) Dillard of Albuquerque, NM; grandson, Mathew L. Dillard and wife, Natalie (Torres) Dillard of Albuquerque, and great-grandsons, Rosendo Ignacio Ramon Cruz and Alakai William Burns Benavidez of Albuquerque.
At her request cremation will take place and there will be no public service. She will be Interred in the Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Park in Albuquerque with her husband, Robert Howard and son, Robert Paul.
