Beverly Marie Beebe, 86, of Ceresco, Mich passed away peacefully on April 5, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 23, 1938, in Boyne City, Michigan, to Clyde and Marguerite Council. Beverly's early years were spent in the scenic surroundings of Boyne City before she and her family moved to Battle Creek, where she graduated from Battle Creek Central High School.
Beverly was a hard worker and joined the Air National Guard as a supply specialist, where she forged lifelong friendships, until she became a stay-at-home mother. Beverly married Charles Beebe, and together they built a life rich in love for over 52 years. Their union was blessed with children who would carry on Beverly's legacy of kindness and family values: daughter Michelle (Matthew) Williamson and son Michael (Diana) Nesbitt; grandchildren Kyle and Derek Williamson; and nieces and nephews. An avid golfer, Beverly took many trips all over the country to play with her husband and friends. She and her husband were also members at many local golf courses. Beverly's passion for sports extended beyond the golf course; she was an ardent fan of the Detroit Tigers and sports in general, and watching their games with family was one of her favorite pastimes. Beverly was also a masterful bridge player, and she played with many local groups, including the Battle Creek Women's Social Club, where she served in many roles including President. She was also a fantastic cook and her family and friends always looked forward to having her dinners. Beverly is survived by her loving husband Charles, her children Michelle and Michael, their spouses Matthew and Di, and her grandsons Kyle and Derek. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Nina Council and brother, Donald Council.
Her unwavering support and endless generosity will be deeply missed. The family will hold a celebration of life later this summer. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Beverly, please visit our floral store.
