Beverly "Bev" Gregory, age 60, passed away on March 1, 2026 at her home in Crenshaw, Mississippi. She was born on August 18, 1965, in Como, Mississippi to the late Jimmy Harold Gregory and Dorothy Mae Barlow Gregory.
A memorial service to celebrate Bev's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at the Crenshaw Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Blessing officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
Bev dedicated her career to serving others, working as a factory worker and caregiver, both roles reflecting her deep commitment to the well-being of those around her. She was profoundly respected for her ability to uplift those in her presence, as her vibrant personality could light up any room she entered. Full of life, Bev shared joy wherever she went, and her heart of gold was evident in her compassionate spirit. She enjoyed crafting and had a particular affinity for animals, often rescuing dogs in need, whom she adored and considered her children.
She leaves behind two loving sisters, Cheryl Lewellyn of Crenshaw, MS, and Wendy Peavy of Batesville, MS. Bev is also survived by her cherished nieces and nephews: Rodney Anglin, Brittany Gregory, Jennifer Gregory, Corey Clemmons, Will Peavy, Amanda Stewart, and Victoria "Tori" Vaughn. Her love for her family and her many fur-babies was unwavering, and they will all carry her memory in their hearts.
Bev will be remembered for her fun-loving and kind spirit, and always making others laugh. Her spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her.
