Beverly J Bohanan of St. Charles, MO passed away peacefully in her sleep January 23, 2026, at the age of 88. She was born to loving parents Audra and Norval Brown of Fredricktown, MO on December 27, 1937. Beverly earned her nursing degree at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis and accepted employment at MBH thereafter. Beverly married the uniquely wonderful Earl L Bohanan in St. Louis in 1959 and was happily married for 57 years until Earl’s death in 2016.
Beverly was a devoted and selfless mother to her five children: James Scott Bohanan, David Liston (Lauren) Bohanan, Ellen Odell (Chad) Semans, Barret Clayton (Shannon) Bohanan, and Anne Marie (Dan) Carroll. She was entirely delighted to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Joel (Stacey) Taylor, Ahren Bohanan, Benjamin Bohanan, James Carroll, Edward Carroll, Sylvia Carroll, Clayton Semans, Liston Semans, Colton Taylor, and Addyson Taylor.
Beverly was a follower of Jesus, a nurturer, an animal lover, and a friend to all. A kinder person was never known. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who had the great fortune of knowing her.
