Beverly Ruth Brown

Beverly Ruth Brown, 85, of Carrollton, Texas, passed away on April 7, 2024. She was surrounded by her children and grandchildren at the time she passed.
Beverly was born, August 1, 1938 to John F. Schroer, Sr. and Florene M. Schroer in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She graduated from Classen High School in Oklahoma City. In 1953, she met the love of her life, Donald Brown at Trinity Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, and they were married in Guthrie, Oklahoma in 1954, going on to have three daughters, Sherri, Teresa and Karen. They were married 64 years at the time of his passing.
When Beverly had her first child, Sherri, she decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. Beverly excelled in motherhood and was the foundation of our family, through and through. She loved to play cards with her friends in her Bridge Club, loved to dance, loved county and old gospel music and loved to watch Jeopardy and The Voice. She always knew the right thing to say, never missing a special date for any of her family. She was always a giver, whether others knew about it or not. She was very proud of all of her family, but especially proud to be a grandmother to 7 and a great grandmother to 11.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents John and Florene Schroer, her husband, Donald Brown, sister, Donna Cameron, brothers; Robert Schroer, William (Bill) Schroer and John Schroer, Jr. Beverly is survived by her daughters, Sherri Ann Meredith and husband Johnny,
Teresa Dawn Chavez and husband Michael, Karen Lynn Wheeler and husband Frank. Grand-children, Ralph Kirkham and wife Katie, JR Hall, Crystal Andrews and husband Roy, Ashley Pena and husband Martin, Karrie Brooks and husband Zach, Trey Meredith and wife Melissa and
Taylor Chavez. Great-Grandchildren, Lexi Culver, Grayson Andrews, Arianna Hall, Abby Cantu, Hayden Puegh, Alex Pena, Ethan Pena, Westin Brooks, Jaxson Brooks, Raelynn Kirkham and Kaylee Andrews.
A Memorial Service will take place Friday April 19, 2024 at 11 a.m. The service will be held at Mulkey Mason Funeral Home 740 S. Edmonds Ln. Lewisville, TX 75067. Burial will follow immediately after the service at Roselawn Memorial Cemetery in Denton, TX.
