Chauvin Funeral Home & Crematory - HoumaBeverly Ann Christopher, a beloved daughter, aunt, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2026, at the age of 95. Born on September 21, 1930, in Houma, Louisiana, Beverly filled her life with love and dedication as a homemaker who took immense pride in caring for her home and family.
Beverly is survived by her sisters, Marie Melancon, Jewell Babin; daughter, Sandra Stepp; nieces and nephews, Cotty O'Leary (Nancy), George O'Leary, Jr., Valerie Porche, Greg Melancon, Noreen O'Leary, Brian Babin (Jeannine), Colette Melancon (Julie), and also survived by her great nieces and nephews.
Beverly is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth Wayne Christopher; parents, Jules Levron and Marie Levron; siblings, Ruth O'Leary, Norma Doucet; brothers-in-law, George O'Leary, Sr., Murphy Doucet, Floyd Melancon, and Gene Babin, Sr.; niece, Donna Russo; nephew, Barry Porche, Gerry O'Leary, and Eugene Babin, Jr.
Beverly's warm spirit and compassionate heart brought joy to everyone who knew her. She found happiness in simple pleasures-whether it was enjoying a sunny day on the golf course, casting a line while fishing, or camping under the stars. Her love for nature was only rivaled by the love she held for her family. Married for 57 years to her late husband, Kenneth Wayne Christopher, Beverly created a home filled with laughter, warmth, and unforgettable memories. She adored her nieces and nephews and treated her relatives as her own children, always there with open arms and a listening ear.
As we celebrate the life of Beverly, we honor her legacy of kindness, reliability, and unwavering support. She leaves behind a family who will forever cherish the lessons she imparted and the love she so freely gave.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation in the Magnolia Chapel of Chauvin Funeral Home on Saturday, February 21, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the Liturgy of the Word at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Frances Cemetery No. 2.
In this time of reflection, we invite all who knew Beverly to join in celebrating her remarkable life-a life dedicated to love, family, and the beauty of everyday moments. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
