Beverly Jean (McMichael) Coulter, age 73 of Jeffersonville, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025.
Born to the late Wilbert Arnold and Elsie (Reid) McMichael, Beverly built a life rooted in love, compassion, and service. She spent many years at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, where her sharp mind and steady leadership shone as head of accounting and ER administration. But Beverly's true calling was caring for others-especially children. With a heart as generous as her smile, Beverly joyfully volunteered wherever she could make a difference. Whether helping with the Boy Scouts, supporting the mission of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or teaching Sunday School at Calvary Christian Church in Sellersburg, she poured her energy into nurturing and guiding young lives. To countless children and families, Beverly was an "adopted mother," offering wisdom, warmth, and encouragement that left a lasting mark.
She found peace and joy in nature-especially on trips to Red River Gorge, where she marveled at the beauty of God's creation. Beverly also had a love for music and never missed a chance to dance-especially when the Belle of Louisville was sailing under a starry sky.
Beverly's legacy of love continues through her devoted husband, Ralph Coulter, Jr. of Jeffersonville; her beloved son, Ralph Coulter of Arizona; her cherished grandchildren, Abbigale and Donovan Coulter; and her brother, Bruce McMichael (Kathy) of Louisville.
There will be no formal services. Arrangements are entrusted to Scott Funeral Home (2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville).
Beverly's life was one of faith, joy, and compassion-a beautiful reflection of the love she shared so freely with everyone who knew her.
