Linda Gayle Stirr, 74, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025, in Louisville, Kentucky, with her loving family by her side.
She was born on January 26, 1951, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, the daughter of the late Raymond and Helen Davis.
Linda retired after many years of dedicated service in the printing industry as a typesetter. She was an active member of St. Luke's United Church of Christ in Jeffersonville, where she enjoyed worship and fellowship with her church family.
Linda loved spending time with her many friends at the American Legion, socializing, dancing, and listening to music.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Stirr. Linda is survived by her children; Erin Reid(Keith), Brandon Reid(Medina); sister, Saundra Byars and two brothers; niece, Rachel Byars; along with one great niece and nephew; and two grandchildren, Caimen Reid, Brandon Reid Jr.
There will be a visitation on Sunday, October 26, 2025 from 1-6pm at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130. Service will be on Monday, October 27, 2025 at 12pm with more visitation before from 10-12pm.
